Experian reports Social networks drive 7.7% of visits to retail web sites. Reports conclude 60 percent of social shopping starts on Facebook.  Social media and mobile devices add a new dimension to the retail experience. Online tools such as review sites, social networks and smartphones create a sound more conventient way for shoppers to accesss, review and purchase products more securely online. The growing ubiquity of cell phones, especially the rise of smartphones, has made social networking just a finger tap away. Fully 40% of cell phone owners use a social networking site on their phone, and 28% do so on a typical day.
